Foam Academy Opens in Arizona

The three-day International Class A Foam and CAFS Academy was held this week in Glendale, Ariz., with more than 100 participants from six countries in attendance.

DATES: Feb. 3-5 2011
PLACE: Glendale Regional Public Safety Training Center, Glendale, AZ
HOST HOTEL: Glendale Renaissance
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: November 30, 2010 or until classes get full
FIVE CLASS TRACKS:
•
Basic - For those new to Class A foam and CAFS
•
Advanced - For current foam users
•
Administrative/Chiefs - For Fire Department Administrators and Incident Commanders
•
Mechanics - For technicians who service and repair foam systems
•
Advanced Mechanics - Experienced technicians will actually retrofit a CAFS onto an existing pumper.
Instruction includes classroom sessions and hands-on activities including live fire.
